Out of boredom during this pandemic, I cracked a few seeds and put them in a window. They grew pretty good so I got a tent and LED light and went to town. Turns out two males and one girl remains. Never did auto flowers, but was wondering if its a good idea to supplement the end yield, and get a few autos going and grow 'em with the regular plant and maybe finish close to same time. October 1st is my deadline.
Autos do best with longer light cycles. They'll still grow under 12/12, just not as well as they would under 18/6 or even 24/0. Also, the faster autos take from 60-90 days to finish, that deadline means you may have to chop early.
If you're going to be lighting the whole tent, you may as well fill it with plants, but if you only have a cheaper LED light, stick with growing one plant under it.
