 How to use a dry herb vaporiser: A pictorial.  1

OK, I've had a lot of people tell me that they can't get high using a dry herb vaporizer, so I decided to make this pictorial to finally explain how to properly use one of these wonderful tools.
The first thing you need to know is that you are not burning the cannabis, you are blowing hot air over the flower causing the available cannabinoids to be released as a vapor that is then inhaled into the lungs. So, you have to prep your herb differently. You need to fully de-carb your herb and grind it up much finer than you would for a joint.
De-carbing your flower can be done in several different ways; in an oven set to 250f for 30-60 minutes or in a dehydrator for a few days. The end product is the same, flowers with no H2O left in it, a super dry herb that crumples into powder when pinched. This is what you want for a dry herb vaporizer.
I use this vaporizer right here The Extreme-Q:
Now the first thing you need to do is put your herb in a pyrex dish and break it up as if you were going to put it in a grinder
Stick it in an oven at 250f for about 15-20 minutes, remove from oven and start pinching the buds up:
Put back in the oven for another 15-20 minutes, remove, pinch and replace.
Keep doing this until it won't get any drier.
Use tweezers to get any bigger stems out then use a medium-mesh strainer and rub your herb thru it:

The cannabinoids in here are ready to be vaporized.
There is nothing between their place on the flower and your lungs.
No water to get in the way of this process, just pure unfiltered cannabinoids:

Use a regular drinking straw to load the bowl.
I put a mark about where the herb is in the straw:
This will fill the bowl about 1/3 full, just right to allow maximum air-flow over the herb.
Get it too full and a lot of your oils will migrate to the sides and just end up clogging your screen faster.
That's not much weed.
The whole bowl will hold 0.3g
... so there's only about 0.1g in the bowl.
This is enough to get most people high.
There are about three decent hits there.
You could cash it out ...
but you will end up puking from coughing so much lol.
Here is the bowl after about 2g of medical herb's been through it:
I will take some PGA and clean out all that hash-oil and use it in my brownies.
EDIT:
I forgot to add that you can run the vaped weed thru a fine-mesh sometimes called a grease-strainer and use it to make some nice couch-lock edibles.
The high from vaping is more energetic than smoking. I think this is because that little 10-15% locked up in the herb is where the couch-lock is, because the edibles made from this vapor-poo will put you to sleep lol

You're gonna get thin watery hits if you don't fully decarb your herb prior to using it in a dry herb vaporizer.

I also tend to vape my herb at around 420-430f unless I'm trying to burn some of the hash-oil that is collected in the bowl. I have to turn it up to 440-450f to get a decent hit off of that stuff.
