So I've been off since last Tues. It's all been a paid vacation. PTO my guys.
I was going to go back today, then be off Tues wed. I would then work Thurs Fri.
Well I decided to keep this party going and used 3 more days of PTO. I go back to work next mon.
It's all paid.
So anyway, long story shirt..
One guy is going in because there's a small job in Austin. Our crew has 2 vans. I have the keys to one and the other vans keys are at the shop.
Well the guy going to Austin wants to drive the smaller van, but I have the keys for that one.
They wanted me to get up, get dressed, and drive to the shop, off the clock, and drop off the keys.
Hold the fuck up! You got this junkie fuck sitting around the shop not doing a god damn think while getting paid and you want me to go out of my way!?
I'm on fucking vacation.
I told him the keys will be in the back of my truck. Come and get em. And, don't knock on my fucking door.

Technically I'm getting paid so I could have dropped off the keys.

So you’re working from home then? That’s what’s up, I need to somehow figure out a way to do that because I keep wacky hours. My ‘production’ rate would go through the roof if I was free to work when compelled to instead of a forced block of time. Hella jelly you figured that out.

Nah. The opposite. I'm in HVAC. The ac biz.
Each year I gain 80 hours of PTO which is paid vacation. The cool thing is that the hours rollover.
Some companies have a use it or lose it policy. Sorta like your penis.
