Never did serious time... Longest was 3 months, but I have been to county 100s of times. Some for a few weeks, some for a few days... I almost always made bail though.
I was in 5th grade when I was locked up for the first time. Broke into the elementary school over the weekend and went nuts. There was no major damage, but I def fucked some shit up.

Hold up...
So you were picking shrooms and got caught with weed? They initially approached you for shroom picking?
How did that switch over to them kicking your door in? How in gods name does a few dried shrooms translate to 25 years?
As a side note I just watched this thing on interrogations and a priest was trying to deny essentially raping 3 kids multiple times... 6 years.  Probably served 2..

I've been an avid mushroom hunter/consumer for years. There are fields all over my county that have shrooms in them.
When I got arrested for selling weed ... they found my shroom stash.
Since they were unable to take my house or car and there was no bank account with $60k they crucified me in court.
Set me up with 5 trials in an attempt to force me into signing a plea. Which is what I did 3 days before my first trial date. Signed for 11 charges (they had hit me with 18 trumped up bullshit charges).
The 25 years for the mushrooms ate up all the other time.
Let me find my old time card and I will list the charges I signed for ....
5 counts of possession with intent: 6 years each count
3 counts of using another person's property to commit a crime: 20 years for each one
1 charge of manufacturing cannabis, I had 2 plants in my back yard: 10 years
1 charge of possession of powder cocaine, 1 gram: 10 years
1 charge of possession of shrooms, 280 grams: 25 years for that one.
The entire story is crazy as fuck and I'm in the process of writing a book about it all.

I got out on parole the Monday after Thanksgiving this last November. I have to see my PO every 3 months now. Gotta pay $38 parole fees each month. They also hit me with $13k worth of fines. I have to pay $100 each month on that.
On top of losing virtually everything I ever owned, I'm financially fucked for a while. My sister was kind enough to let me stay with her till I'm able to get back on my feet. It's just gonna take longer than I expected due to the fines. I thought that they would let the prison time eat up the fines too, but these greedy bastards want their money.
I will eventually only have to report to my PO on a yearly basis
I just do not know how long it will take for that to happen.
They legalized medical marijuana while I was in prison.
I'm looking into getting all my records together so I can try to get my card.
If things work out I may end up moving to Denver.
They just decriminalized shrooms and have legal weed.

Damn. I knew you got popped but I didn't realize the extent of it. Shit sucks. This is kinda why I'm getting away from the whole mushroom thing.
