Hello, though I haven't posted before I've been a member of the shroomery for many years. I have 2 plants one is inzanity the other is sour cheese.
Here's inzanity grown inside using soil, 3 weeks veg and about 5 weeks into flowering.
Same with cheese but is a week farther along than inzanity plus some cool close ups. I'll post more tomorrow I'm sleepy.

Looks like you have another 3-4 weeks.
If you reset the white balance on your camera to custom (while pointing it at a white sheet of paper under your lights) you can get natural color photography. Not every camera lets you do it, most phones don't have that feature by default.

I'm sorry to keep updating but cheese has some buds that are pretty ripe, though the main cola isn't quite as far along as some of the lower buds, should I start trimming some of them off or still wait? I can see where some buds still need at least another week but others look ready.

memberjockey, nice looking buds, my friend. Looking great!
Nah, do not pluck the leaves. Leave the leaves on until harvest; give the buds a chance to mine the nitrogen out of the leaves. The mining of the nitrogen out of the leaves is characterized by the fan leaves beginning to turn yellow towards the end of the plants life cycle.
Also, plucking leaves during fruiting adds unneeded stress to the plant. Any unneeded stress to plants during flowering causes diminishing, due to the plant having to focus it's energy on healing rather than bud, and THC formation, and production The level of diminishing caused by stress to the plant during flowering is dictated by the severity of the stress.

I personally would wait til you start seeing some amber ones.. but mostly cloudy.. clear is what you don't want for sure...
And i like the one i linked mainly cause it has a zoom function and focus, do you don't have to keep lifting it up and down trying to see stuffs.. but a loop is fine..

Im gonna guess an say N defincey but you dont want alot of N at the last stage so it doesnt taste "green".
They need alot of water to pump up the flowers! Lol i heard in the flowering stage u wanna keep the soil kinda moist.
Im just guessing wait for old heads

They tend to loose color toward the end. When flushing especially. If they're drinking lots of water they're still growing. At their peak they will require the most per day. Toward the end you'll notice they hardly take any water up, that's when I would chop mine down. Particularly before the yellow recedes into the buds.
The plant uses the nutrients in the shade leaves toward the end to support reproductive growth.
Under LED's I barely saw any cloudy tricomes when I harvested. If you don't harvest within a cerain window your plant will start to foxtail. Cut them down before they do it, or wait another few weeks (11+ weeks) if they can handle it to fill out that new growth. Not ever plant likes to foxtail and fill in, some just foxtail and look ugly. Know your plant, some of those that fill in are the dankest buds you'll ever have.

Unless they start showing heavy yellowing I think they could go the distance, I want dank. The inzanity seems to show foxtailing by nature but also shows more yellowing on the small leaves where the cheese not as much foxtailing with only the fan leaves yellowing, if they start showing signs let them foxtail? These are all inzanity. Thanks a big bunch

Everything is fine. They look like they are ripening up well.
The yellowing is perfectly normal. It is just the flowers mining the nitrogen out of the fan leaves.
memberjockey, I have a question for you; if I may. How is the bud density, and I apologize in advance if this has been stated already; what kind of light(s) are you using?

The buds on the outside are denser and darker than further inside the stem where it's not getting as much light, the further in you go the lighter green and not as dense the buds are. This is one of the lowest branches that doesn't get as much light plus down the stem below the tip the buds were getting no direct light. Though it's wet it has weight to it. The tip is farther along than lower down. I think they may already be foxtailing I'll check closer tomorrow. It's a blackdog max 600 I'm super sleepy sorry if nothing I just wrote makes any sense. I'll be back tomorrow, exit stage left.

Good morning, funny you asked, the cutting of cheese had a tiny bud on the bottom of the stem that was dry and I ground it up last night and found the prettiest little seed. Cheese has a piney smell and taste and though I used very little I got a giggly, good mood buzz last night. Here's a pic of the bud & it's seed and a pic of inzanity to see where I think it may be foxtailing. All comments are greatly appreciated.

I found 2 more mature seeds for a total of 3 in the same small bud from last night, is that a sign that it's ready, they're all dark and pretty like the one I posted.

While I was watering cheese I noticed an unusual bud, it's light green on top with a lot of white stigma on top but it's wide and short looking with the leaves stacked really tight. It's hard to get a good pic. Is it a foxtail of some kind?

Yup I’d agree that you just need to wait and you’ll be much happier.. you’ll know they’re almost ready once your fan leaves start yellowing and some will start falling off. Buds will be about double the size they are now, once you’re leaves start fading/yellowing give it straight water for a week before harvest to flush out all your nutes and you’ll be good to start drying and curing! Hope this was helpful. And if you have a pocket microscope look for 50% cloudy 50% amber trichomes. I haven’t had much luck seeing the trichs with the jewelers loupe my eyes aren’t great though

Here's a better picture of the bud that has so many stigma sticking out everywhere, all the other buds are closed up pretty tight with a few hairs sticking out where this one seems to be going kinda rogue or something because there's not another one like it. Is it foxtailing?

Good morning, cheese is taking much less water than inzanity, fruiting time on cheese is 55 to 65 days and it's been about 65 days plus or minus. Do you think they'll double in size if I leave them?

Those pics look pretty mature actually other pics didn’t do justice on the size bro if you’ve already started your flush I’d say those are pretty on point to harvest next two or three days (really whenever you have time) if you haven’t started flushing yet start your flush and give a couple gallons or so of straight RO water a day for the next week (sounds like a lot but you’re really just trying to leach the nutes out of your soil at this point) if you could get a macro shot of the trichomes that’s the only way to be 100% sure though but IMO those mfs are damn close if not ready

If you can’t get a shot of the trichomes post a pic of the whole plant that would be helpful

Happy 420 to everyone, here's some pics of cheese and the freaking seeds I got from a couple of the lower branch buds. Also the little flower thing in pic #6 and #10, sorry for the non technical term, is it a ruptured pollen sac?

Yup that’s a pollen sack. Looks like it’s been open for a while. I’d go ahead and take em down when you get a chance they look mature enough and all the production is going to go into seed production at this point anyway since that’s an open pollen sack. I’d harvest sooner than later unless you want those seeds but good chance the seeds from that will also herm
