I want to grow a couple of auto flowering cannabis plants this season. I wanted to know a few things. First, it isn't too late in the season is it? I live in a northern climate, in a state bordering Canada. For my choice of auto, I wanted to try growing a strain called "60-day Lemon Auto" from "DNA Genetics." They say that it finishes in just 60 days from when the seed germinates I think. Second, could I grow these in cups filled with soil and place them outside? And lastly, can I use miracle grow as a medium to grow these plants? I have heard conflicting things about growing cannabis with miracle grow. Some people say that it is terrible for the plants because they receive too much nitrogen or something like that and the leaves blacken. A few others however have said that miracle grow works great, and that the plants will grow much bigger and hardier flowers. Thanks everyone for your help.

its not too late. Plants are in veg right now. Farmers grow auto's early in the season while they're vegging the big 10+lb plants outside.
They call it miracle grow because its a miracle if anything grows in it.
Small containers will result in low yield. Best to have more soil so it reaches its full potential.
outside: protect from deer, rabbits, cats, insects, etc.

Most nurseries have good premixed soil you can buy that should work fine in a large enough pot. There are also posts about mixing your own in the forums that you might prefer.
Psychotron: So no miracle grow, right? And keep them in perhaps five gallon buckets? I was going to put them on my deck, so deer, rabbits, and cats will not be an issue. Insects however might be; is there a way to protect against bugs?
Rider420: There is a nice greenhouse just ten or so miles from my house. I could just buy some premixed soil there to use for the autos? And sorry if this is a dumb question, but could I simply drop the seeds in a full glass of cold water and leave them there until they germinate?
Thanks again guys.

Yup their premixed soil should be fine in a five gallon pot.
Seed soaking is a bad ideal the most healthy seeds will drown. Best to either plant them in soil or use the moist paper towel method.
