my plant is about 2 to 3 weeks old and is around 4 to 5 inches.. i have a blue grow led light on it. is that length about right or should it be bigger?its got the feeder leafs then 2 bigger leafs and 2 smaller leafs the potting mix is miracle grow verm and cow shit mixture.. it looks really healthy but just seems like it should be bigger. any suggestions? also its just a reggie seed
No it should much bigger. But you didn't mention your light schedule. IMO if your led is some cheapy one. Then that could be contributing to the problems as well. I would just use a T5/MH fixture or at the very least some CFLs.
Also seedlings are way too young to start feeding. You might experience some nutrition burn if that cow shit is too hot. But considering it's been 3 weeks and you haven't yet I guess it wasn't. Ideally you start feeding around the four to five week Mark
Sounds like its normal. Plants grow extremely slow for the first 2 weeks then start to pick up as they get more leaf mass to absorb more light.
Post a photo.
