Light bar flicker
    #830576 - 12/20/17 07:21 PM (7 years, 9 days ago)

So I just installed this light bar on my Ford Escape a couple weeks ago. And I noticed it started to flicker. At first it was about 5 bulbs (LED). But now its just 3. I can't figure out why its flickering. The wire harness had a 12v 40 amp relay. I wired it directly to the battery and grounded it to the battery as well. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I included a gif of the flickering.

Only douche bags have those light bars.

Shitting on someone asking for help is the lowest form of character.

DK, I'm not an electrical engineer or knowledgeable in general, but my guess seeing as its a subset of the diodes and not the entire array would be that there's a problem within the light itself that will require a warranty claim.

Does the flickering still occur when the engine isn't running?

Yeah im thinking worse case scenario. I will have to hit up the buyer for another one. It would probably be more trouble than it's worth to actually open it up and resolder new diodes/PCB.

Yeah it happens when its running or when the engine is off.
