It gives you something to aim for. I'm hoping to get at least better than most of the bag I see on the street. No ambitions for pro status, just a good, smooth smoke.

Yep you can't improve if you don't try. I'll be happy with what I get on my first try and then after that set my self little goals to shoot for. So basically I like to aim low and shoot high.
And here's a update of her. I just gave her a watering of some 7ph water and will see if it changes my runoff ph

Tested the runoff and it came out to be 6ph. Which is better than last time so I'll keep with the 7ph water and see how it goes.

Well she is doing fine. But of course my other seedling is having its own issues. Got some brown dots on the leafs ends and then the became brittle dry and disintegrated when rubbed between fingers. Soil had moisture but idk what happened.
I think It might be the soil that's giving me issues and killing my seedlings

It's ffof which come with a lot of nutes. And i think the only reason the white widow is doing good is cause it's a auto and the other seeds I've been trying to start just mess up early on.
Like the widow had some of the same looking problems but it grew out of it.
Well here is the widow Dec 8

It's pretty cool, so far some of the calyxs are quadrupling in size. It'll be nice when all the buds are swollen

As long as your tap water isn't an issue, I'd pick a pH level, balance it to that and flush away. You need to read your runoff to know how effective you are, if at all. I, personally, might give it a double watering each time it would get its normal watering or slightly longer between. You are trying to rob it of soil based nutrients so its uses up all the remaining sugars in the leaves and elsewhere on the last of the resin production before you chop.
Personal opinion, mind you. Your own experience or that of others may indicate/dictate other ways to get this done.

What's the stated flowering period on that version you have? How far into it is it?
Sorry to see the leaves in sad shape. Hopefully that is more from the earlier problems and the new/continuing growth stays healthy. If this doesn't put you off completely, better luck on the next project. I just 86'd my grow from regular seeds. Every one of them with more balls than a bowling alley. Went with a single auto-fem this round, just to tide me over until I take another run at it.

Well its an auto and the seeds stats say 49-55 day flower but it doesn't show how long it's in veg.and it seems like those are the original messed up leafs and not new growth being affected. And I'd say I'm about 30 days into flower.
I'm curious about the lower bud branches since they are just a waste of bud since they so small or almost non existent from low light exposure. Could i just cut them off so the plant focuses on the other buds? I kno since it's an auto it can stress it and make it take a Lil long but that wouldn't be so bad.
I thought about buying another light but probably to late in the cycle to have the lower buds increase in size and calyx production. But anyway what's yalls thoughts?

Got my pocket microscope and it's awesome. Was checking out the trichomes and for the most part they are milky white with a Lil bit of clear. I'll try and get some screen shots or vid. And then depending on what yall think I might chop it up soon or wait till I start seeing the presence of amber trichs

My understanding is you want to see around 50% amber and use that as the trigger for your pre-harvest flush. Keep a close eye on your flowering timeline (from first flower appearance) and the color changes, paying particular attention when you near the last couple of weeks. Those are my thoughts on it anyway. More seasoned growers may be able to pin it down tighter for you.
Congrats on the pocket scope. They're indispensable. Got my fingers crossed for you as I have a bit of a vested interest. I'll have my own auto to nurse over the finish line in the next couple of months.

It is pretty much morgue quiet around here, that I'll agree. Possibly the slow creep of legalization is taking the wild-west adventure spirit out of it. Nothing quite like being bad-ass and discussing it anonymously in a public forum.
