 Make Growery Great Again

I would like to see the growery flourish again and if not flourish at least contain the inherently important information that is lacking on the site. As well as addressing the structure of this forum.
It has come to my attention as well as others of this community that there is a lack of sticky posts with important and very basic information that could benefit everyone from the newb to the old head. I propose a campaign to search out the growery, yes UTFSF lol to gather all pertinent information and compile it into a serious of threads that we then can have permanently placed at the top of the forums related. I would like to start this campaign with Cult forum. We will need to compile all internal info as well as search out the internet and find information we maybe plain lacking a this also means finding and inviting great minds that aren't apart of our community to join if possible. Personally have a treasure trove of knowledge and will be working on some tutorials and also building a thread with links to all available teks and write ups. Here is what I need....

It sounds to me like we have a few people who might be willing to provide volunteer work to help out the mods a little.
Would there be a logical way to organize the content-gathering work? One quick thought would be to have either a single mod or a team of mods that would delegate to a larger team of trusted users the "topics of interest" that need to be stickied. This larger team (probably separated into smaller groups based on the various topics) would then go out and sift through the growery, and find the most accurate content that we already have available. If something is missing, we can venture out and tap into other sites or resources for the missing info. The teams could forward the thread links or specific info to the mods, to either be approved or paraphrased.
Both teams (mods and the users) would need to meet up online at least twice, the first time would be to determine topics, assignments of topics to users, and due dates for information submission. The second time would be to determine final formatting of the information into either a single thread or a series of sticky threads.
This combined effort would be an excellent way to bring together the mods and the core group of users to build a strong sense of community, to show the mods that there are a group of users that really care about this site, the show the users that the mods do care, will listen, and can involve the users in site operations, and finally will set a precedence towards real change and improvement of the site due to direct action by both the users and the mods.
I, for one, support this effort. However, I've never seen this world from the viewpoint of a mod, so I have no idea on the feasibility of this kind of endeavor. I hope we can hear some real feedback on this from the rest of the mods here at the growery, to see if this is even a real possibility, or to offer tweaks to my ideas, or maybe a more efficient system of user/mod collaboration for gathering and organizing the information we need.

We did a similar thing at shroomery: mods and users helped revise and update all the main content for mush cultivation. It worked great and we can do the same here with just less people. Peer review is powerful and important.

The easiest way to make the growery great again would be to levy large tariffs on incoming traffic from the Shroomery.
It is our only hope!
