 SO... I made a pot brownie with some of the top bud/trim, and only ate just a little bit. Well it sent me into a trip that felt like I was in hell. I came up with all kinds of logical paranoid theories about a whole bunch of things that all felt really real. My girlfriend who was listening to me actually believed some of the shit I was saying because I was so convincing in my paranoid tripped out state of mind. DAMN the mind can be a scary place! I felt like I had to take this post off because I was convinced the growery was run by law enforcement... haha.. OOPS! Sorry guys! Anyways I wanted you to all know that I yielded just over 5 ounces of dried weed, that's not including the big fat top bud that I lost and made into green dragon/brownies. HSO blue dream is a HUGE yielder!!! I did use a 600w MH/HPS but keep in mind i only vegged this plant for a little less than a month in hydro. I also cut it down a little early, I think it still had just a tiny bit of growing left to do. If you are looking for a good yielding, all rounder and heavy hitter, pick this strain up!

What are u growing in?
What nutrients are u using? Any Epsom salts or calcium or other micros?
What is the ph? May have lock out of a couple nutrients.
When are u watering? Tottaly dry and edges pulling away from container? Or just water on a schedule? Feedings?
Normal to have yellowing lower down but looks to early to be yellowing near the top like it is esp if has been happening for more then a week.
Stems purple all over? Or just colored where light hits them?
Would guess a couple issues at once here.
As for sativa or indica it's a hybrid  slightly long buds. Slightly wide leaves lol. You'll know when ur growing a thin leafed cultivar:) small calyx trich heads are small grow taller and thinner. Afganica or indica u will have wide fan leaves short denser flowers with larger calyx. But we are learning more and more that effects don't reflect leaf shape and indica or sativa names we traditionally gave aren't really corr3ct either. Remember when people let it flower for longer to get sleepy cbd effect? And cbd was more in indicas and why they were couch lock. Well likely not cbd but formation of cbd. And cbd seems to actually be higher in alot of "sativas".

Haha yeah I know it's a hybrid, I just can't tell which side it's dominate on and its frustrating me lol! I'm growing in hydro, and i'm watering it every 2-3 days. Currently it's getting 10mls of bloom nutrients every 3 days. I'm also using sm-90 to keep the roots healthy and to keep away bacteria. The ph is around 6.1-6.4 . The roots look really white, but don't have much space to grow any further in my 5 gallon bucket. Not all the stems are purple, just a few here and there, some towards the middle of the plant, some towards the top. The yellowing of the leaves is mainly just towards the bottom of the plant. Although there is slight yellowing around the middle of the plant as well. What's weird is that it's really green towards the back of the plant that you can't see in the photos...
About indicas and sativas, i've learned that not only does cbd and thc effect the high, but the terpene profile does as well to a great extent. For example, super silver haze is a dominate sativa plant, however, unlike other sativa plants, it doesn't give you the anxiety and paranoia that other sativas give you. This is because its high in a terpene called mycerene. CBD also plays a factor into this as well, which is why some people like their trichomes to be partly amber.

Cough cbn in amber not cbd  again think this comes.from people thinking cbd means sleepy which it doesn't. Remember degraded thc turns to cbn which happens to be potent in the sleeper department.

Oh and hard to guess on how much longer at that point but I'd say more then 2. 3-3.5. But you'll only know when u get closer . But good news is looks like will get a nice yeild!

Yeah i'm hoping so! I'm already having to support the lower branches with string. I found them hanging down low almost looking like they wanted to just snap off! Luckily there was another bucket in there that was supporting a few of them. But yeah anyways, the buds are swelling and noticeably getting bigger everyday!

Fan leaves? My girlfriend kept picking off the yellow ones, told her to quit it or she's not gonna get any of it.. She stopped after that. She just liked how the fan leaves were so big; and she was taking pics of them after she picked them smh...
The smell of the plant is starting to take on a strong tone of sweet piney lemons!Hopefully it will translate into the taste?? Is this a normal smell for bluedream? I heard it was supposed to be a sweet blueberry/berry smell.

I have a lg g3. Its supposed to be one of the better cameras for a mobile phone. This is actually my 2nd one... My other one got stolen by some guy that decided to put a gun to me and rob me lol. Luckily i got this one for $90 on ebay practically brand new.

Damn, almost all of my leaves are turning yellow with purple stems. There are green leaves left, but the yellowing is just taking over. I don't know what i'm doing wrong. I have the PH between 5.6-5.9, and i'm feeding the plant 30-40mg of bloom nutrients every week with the occasional mix of sm-90. I tried giving the plant some veg nutrients for the extra nitrogen but that didn't seem to do much. Hopefully it will have time to fully ripen before it dies on me. At least all the sugar leaves around the buds are still a good green color. Any thoughts or recommendations?

5.6 is on the lower end. I know hydrosoil dif but if ur meter is off or not stirred and tottaly reacted could be to low. Also do u change ur water or just add nutes to it and check ph?

My ph meter is fine, just tested it recently with some 7.0 powder. I had the thought that maybe it's not getting enough nutrients, so i increased the nutrients by 10ml's per week and that didn't seem to do much. The thing is, the leaf tips are also a little burned, maybe it's just getting too much nutrients?
Or could it be rootlock? The roots don't really have anywhere to grow now, it's just a solid mass in there..
I'm not able to really clean the bucket, the plant is really heavy right now, i'm afraid some of the branches might snap if I move it around. Not sure what the ppm is, don't have ppm meter. I just water the plant every 2-3 days and put in 10ml's of nutrients every watering.

I make sure It gets right around 30mls of nutrients / (maybe a tad bit more) every single week just like the recommendation on the bottle says. I also make a note in my journal on how much they get per week just to make sure. When the leaves started to yellow, I upped it to 40ml's and used vegging nutrients for the extra nitrogen. It's not like I just guess how much nutrients I put in LOL. Anyways, the extra nitrogen didn't seem to alleviate the issue but i'm close to harvesting anyways. I'm not panicking, it's just more of a curious question. The buds are packing on mass and lots of crystal looking goodness everyday.. The smell is also to die for. Smelling like sweet- dank- citrus- berry goodness  Hey by the way, I tried looking at your grows, only to find all the pictures had been deleted by you, what's up with that :o?

These pistils seems like they just really don't want to turn brown. There are some that are brown, but very few.. I checked the trichomes and they all seem to be pretty much cloudy. Do some plants just stay covered in white pistils?

No they will turn when you harvest and cure! That plant is still going. I always wait till 50/50 on the trichs. Half cloudy half amber then I know the plants ready

I took one of the smallest lower branches down yesterday just to have something to smoke on for a little bit. The little buds aren't done drying yet, but the odd thing I wanted to share is that... they smell like straight up cinnamon rolls!  Very spicy and sweet. Can't imagine how it's going to smell cured!

Update! I am now around day 50-55 of flowering. What do you guys think so far? Im noticing some purpling going on in a few parts of the bud .. Completely asthetic but still looks good!

Starting to get a lot of red hairs! There still is a good majority of yellow hairs but they are starting to curl up a lot. Good news is i'm getting my jewelers loop today! As soon as I see any amber trichomes i'm going to harvest. I know some people like more amber for the more narcotic effect, but all of my friends want an energetic up high. Personally I want more of a narcotic effect only because it seems that I get paranoia from energetic racy weed.. BUT, this is the reason I grew bluedream. Apparently this is one of those strains that has a lot of sativa, yet still does not induce paranoia. I will update and take pictures as soon as I begin to harvest; which should be in just a few days.

Hey guys, one of the lower branches fell over and snapped in half, had to cut that branch down. I inspected the trichomes and they appear to be 90% milky 10% white. Im sure in a maybe a couple days the rest of the plant will be completely milky!

So there is some bad news.. I looked inside the top cola with a flashlight, and there is what looks like a little bit of cobweb mold in it. It looks like whispy/airy white mold. There doesn't seem to be a lot, but I think it needs to be cut down now.. fuck. Isn't cobweb supposed to be grey? Maybe a spider is living inside of my plant?

Well... Here they are.. The buds in the tray are the ones that didnt make it. Do you think i'll have time to order bho supplies before the mold consumes them? Anyways, the bud hanging up in the tent was all the good bud; minus the branch that snapped early.

Just smoked the resin ball... I am pretty stoned haha. I love this high though! Very stimulating and euphoric. Feels like I need to get stuff done. I felt like shit about the whole cobweb situation, but this high is just knocking that stress right out. Not much of a stoned type of body high, but still feels really nice... No anxiety or paranoia like I would get from a typical sativa.

I have the affected bud in the freezer right now. I did think about making it into bho, but none of my friends really do that.. So i'm probably going to make some green dragon candy! I might also make some ecig juice.

A couple of people are saying that If I freeze the bud for a week, then dry it out with lots of air movement, that the mold should be completely gone? Any opinions on this?

So I made the green dragon tincture out of all those moldy buds. I got one of my guinea pigs to test the dose. She reported that half a teaspoon got her almost too high! The jars were filled halfway with everclear.. this all tells me that i'm going to be making a LOT of some really good candy Keep in mind, the potency of the green dragon will only become stronger in time.
