So considering rosin is gaining in popularity. I thought why not make a thread?

Anyways I tried rosin for the first time the other day. Bought a 40 dollar gram of OG cookies and I thought it was pretty good. The only thing I didn't like about it was the 'taffy' like  consistency . By that I mean that it was hard to peel of a dab from it as the whole piece would come with the dab tool. I thought the taste and potency were pretty good.

For the past couple of weeks I have thought about saving up for a rosin heat press. Now I have seen some priced as low as 200.00. But I was thinking of getting a digital one. The cheapest I have seen so far is 600.00 on Ebay. The most expensive one was around 5 grand. I would probably get the 600.00 one and then eventually buy a butane/propane CLS (closed loop system). With the funds I earn from the wax I get rid of.

Also does anyone think the ones that apply a lot of force vs. one that doesn't worth it.?

I make rosin the classic way with a hair straightener

I guess if a large yield is your plan though that's not the best option.

Don't know much about it but heard there are serious quality control problems with the rosin tech units

I was talking to retailed from Montreal of concentrate cls deals and rosin presses.

I asked the difference between rosin presses as they had a few. Basically all can do same small amount at a time. Only difference is minor conveniences.

Just keep that in mind. Ur not going to be able to smoosh large quantities even on large expensive units...

IMO squishing buds isn't the way to do rosin.

But I'd still pick up a cls over a press.

Or could take time and just make primo bubble? As loose terps some cannabinoids when heated? U get change in texture and a bump in potency. What else maybe bit smoother? I am talking about making bubble just for rosin.  Guess for seconds would be good for upgrading a bit?

Most definitely. Bubble hash is the only way to go with rosin. If you haven't seen that YouTube video I posted. I suggest you check it out. They mush be squishing a few lbs of good looking bubble.

I plan on getting me a 5 gallon bubble hash machine. Then gonna get a manual press from high five.

But curious why? More processing means less terps no?  Get maybe for seconds or left overs.

I get its cool. But just dunno if would be better then melts bubble or sift.
