Hey guys as my post in cultivation states I'm not a grower, but I wish I could be. Close friend has been growing for many years and is very old school, but is interested in learning modern methods.
He's tasked me with picking out some strains for him. Some of his favorites are Kali Mist - he grows this every time, he's tried quite a few different banks and has found one that he prefers. Can't remember which Blue Dream or haze or something - Serious seeds I believe, he grew this last time and is currently growing it again. Some very nice plants Sour Diesel/NYC Diesel - grown this a few times, always a favorite White Widow - wasn't terribly impressed with this one.
As you can see, clearly old school strains with old school methods.
I've noticed that nobody on here has grown out any crop king seeds, but there are some grow journals on some other forums. They seems to me to have some pretty solid strains.
I was thinking I'd go for White Cookies and Green Crack but after doing some reading the white cookies is only sometimes good and the green crack is new so there aren't any journals, but their website says it is an indica and I always thought it was a sativa. He likes to have a sativa and an indica for every grow
so maybe the Crown Royale and the SS Haze?
There's a shop I can go to that has their seeds and about a million other companies, it's a bit overwhelming so I figured some local canadian strains couldn't hurt

I'd go with something from next generation, he is a reputable Canadian breeder. There's always Vancouver island seed company or Jordan of the islands too.

Thanks for the replies folks. There was a bong shop closing down selling all of it's wares for 50% off picked up a pack of super silver haze by crop king seeds and considering some others. 5 for 30$CAD fem and 10 for 27 reg is hard to beat.

Ya they will be typical of the Spanish wholesale beans many Dutch banks sell if I am not mistaken. None are Canadian strains he sells and all happen to be same as all the others. 98% chance not bred in Canada. Which is fine, but something to keep in mind.
