"A super potent BlueBerry Indica, coated with a strong concentration of tall standing trichomes. This produces a long lasting very narcotic experience ~ body high BlueBerry. Short (80cm) stout kush plants that produce dense, tight, rock hard nuggets of trichome coated bud. A true "hash-plant."
"Blue Moonshine IS NOT a White Widow cross. It is similar to the "Whites" only in it's glandular resin coating. Blue Moonshine is a cousin to BlueBerry, and is derived entirely from within my personal gene collection." - D.J. Short
Technically they are DJ Short genetics regardless of whether or not the seeds came straight from him or Dutch Passion, but they aren't going to be exactly the same from either one. Here's something DJ Short said that pertains:
Quote:
Needless to say this lack of concern prompted me to seek other possibilities that culminated in my relationship with the second company I worked with in Europe. At this company about 50 seeds of each variety were sprouted, but I was once again mainly left out of the selection process except for sampling a number of finished products and making selections based on those (which is enough, actually). I never got to see any of the live plants from this selection process at company number two in Europe. I also contributed seed-stock for three more varieties there; Blue Moonshine, Blue Heaven and Purple Passion. The owner of this company was satisfied with paying me the minimum amount I would consider adequate. Fortunately, part of the deal was my ability to remain independent and work with whomever else I pleased.
Well, personally I wouldn't buy it from Dutch Passion, but straight from DJ Short, but that's just me. He was doing contract work with them - he basically hooked them up with some of his own breeding work. Dutch Passion are breeders as well. You'll find DJ Short listed on seedbanks just the same as you would Dutch Passion. Dr. Chronic should have him on there, for example (although Blue Moonshine isn't listed on there, maybe another seed-bank carries it). I don't think there are any other breeders that have Blue Moonshine genetics, and I'm not sure off the top of my head if any seed-banks have DJ Short's Blue Moonshine up, it might be discontinued). Might have to settle for Dutch Passion's.
I'd love to find some Chocolate Thai, Blue Velvet, Sweettooth 1.1, Blue Moonshine from DJ Shorts. the list goes on but a lot of them lost popularity or whatever it was.
