What happened to "The Weedery?"

When I first visited this site, it was called The Weedery.

That sounds a lot more eloquent.

We took a vote and Growery won in a landslide. Personally I think it rolls off the tongue better and it also evokes the memory of Overgrow (RIP). But you probably do remember correctly, during the concept phase we were Weedery briefly and that domain still redirects here.

We did an extensive search for available names that would fit into what we were looking for, all your suggestions are not only taken but have been for a long time.

On of the favorite ones back in the day was Greenery over Growery, but the owner of Greenery wanted $40,000 USD for the name. :grin:

The growery as from when I first heard it grows on you, and is very much ideal for our branding of shroom-ery and now grow-ery.

I love it, glad we settled on the name.
