Ok, so I had 30 something grams of vaped cannabis, and also cannabis that I had after I made a tincture. I made one huge batch of tincture using Bacardi 151. I was boiling the alcohol off and got it down to a fluid oz. what I noticed was what looked like balls of grease on the surface of the alcohol clumping together. At first I thought this might be little balls of THC precipitating out of the alcohol as I boil it off. I didn't want the "hash" in my tincture so I strained it. What I have left is 3/4 of a fluid oz of dark amber liquid tincture that I plan in using to make e-liquid. I let what I thought was hash dry, but it honestly doesn't seem like hash. It's very dark and sticky which is what I would expect from hash, but it smells like straight resin you would scrape off the inside of your bong. There is also A LOT of it, I wouldn't expect there to be that much for how much I boiled off. Any idea of what it might be? Is it tar and resin that got separated or is it usable THC? I took a little bit and put a flame on it. It crackled and smelt horrible.
I ate some, if it has an effect I'll know if it mainly THC. Does chlorophyll usually behave this way when boiling off a tincture? Thanks for your reply.
