I have some weed and it smells kind of strange.
It has a strong, "chemically" odor.
Whatever it is, it doesn't really smell like weed.
Any idea what this might be? It smells of solvent, I guess.
Is there any sort of test I can perform to determine what's up with this bud?

I don't think anyone would waste good drugs like coke,Sherm, etc. If anything I would guess someone would lace it with some rc drugs. They use acetone when they 'lay' rc on marshmallow leaf, etc.

I had my roommate smell it and he says it smells normal. 
Guess I would need something like this to detect it.
I'm just going to smoke this half gram and then grab off another guy.

If it has a ammonia kind of smell to it it was most likely bagged for a while before being fully dried.

Thats what happens with bricks of schwag they smuggles across the border. Its still wet and then stays wrapped up air tight and starts to ferment.
