Recommend the scariest horror movie you know.
    #797667 - 10/30/15 07:30 AM (9 years, 1 month ago)

My wife's out of town. She hates scary movies, so tonight I get to kick back and watch one in celebration of Halloween. Please recommend one that is truly scary.

Depends on what you consider scary. Really, there are no movies that are actually terrifying.

I can think of two truly scary movies I've seen: Evil Dead and The Shining, but I haven't seen that many, so if anybody wants to chime in with a couple really scary ones, there's a good chance I haven't seen them yet.

The fourth kind was cool if you like aliens. The paranormal activity movies are stupid if you watch them individually, but combined they actually make up a sweet Trilogy (I think it goes in reverse order). The Blair Witch project is always good imo.

I like those found footage deals.

V/h/s/ is cheesy but worth a watch.

Of course it's happening inside your head.
Why should that mean it isn't real?

The original childs play is good. I also like dawn of the dead and night of the living dead. I really dont care for shit thats been coming out in the past 10 years.

You could always give cannibal holocaust a shot. They re made it, green inferno, but it was dumb as shit.

It's almost Halloween, so you should watch Halloween (H1 and H2, but definitely not the third).

A Serbian Film

I've seen hundreds of "scary" movies in all kinds of styles but this is the first movie that actually really horrified me.

I won't watch it again.

My ex is really into the horror genre, especially House of 1,000 corpses, and The Shining.
