of rain is how much we've gotten so far. the flooding in SC is no joke and I live near the coast, so it has been exceptionally bad. I can't go anywhere because my subdivision is next to a massive lake who's dam failed yesterday, and marsh/swamp is everwhere and taken over the roads. It's scary stuff, I have never seen flooding like this here before. A sinkhole just formed up the street as well and a few of my neighbors have water up to their front doors or higher. And the wind is terrible too, so trees are falling everywhere too. Not mention all the interstates have major closings for up to 80 miles. So everyone from the south and east of Columbia is paralyzed.

It is just awful. That video nails it on the head, the rain is FINALLY heading out tonight. It's been doing this since last Wednesday. I saw two people in a boat going down a dirt road this afternoon. I mean...it's total shit.
And they have evacuated the other side of the lake next to us because a dam broke. Luckily I'm in the side on higher ground. We have a mandatory 7 o'clock curfew tonight.
