vegan meaning no milk? ever since I quit buying mtn dew I've been drinking 3-6 gallons of milk a week

I had a vegan protein shake this mornin (with coconut+Almond milk).... tasty as hell (body was cravin nutrients and protein )
I used to drink alot of cows milk when i was a teen/ early 20's. Ignorance is bliss for sure. Now i find is super odd to drink a white liquid that comes out of a 600lb animal thats made for its baby. Watching documentary's on dairy cows and seeing the yellow puss drip into the vats grossed me out (utter infections are VERY common on all farms).
I also used to drive a milk truck and some of the farms we collected milk from were so gross and dirty as hell (with dead flys and shit floating in the white animal liquid aka milk). It all gets strained and mixed together.
I still love cheese tho

I used to be the same way, but in the last couple of years most dairy products have been giving me a sick stomach. At least there are plenty of alternatives (except cheese, fake cheese sucks).
