 Start my new job tomorrow  1

Start work as a customer service rep tomorrow for a contractor services company. I'm basically the middle man between the customer and the sales rep. Starting pay is $2600mo and I get a cut of the salesman's commission, which should put me at 3000-4000mo.
It's kind of funny because I applied for the job and went in for the interview like normal. The guy doing the interview saw my last job as a entry-level retail manager and was really good friends with my old boss. He called my old boss after the interview and called me back right away with the job offer. The guy hiring also said that they need new managers in three months because of a large expansion of the company, and that my old boss highly recommended me for the manager position making 5k a month plus bonuses.
I guess I was at the right place at the right time

Congratulations, sounds like a good job. Do you have a college education or did you qualify from prior experience alone?

Aww yeah. Hopefully there should be enough extra money to move to the Big Island. Then I can grow all the buds I want for freeeeeeee!
It was just prior experience. My major is chemistry. Plus, I got a long time before graduation lol.

Wow, congratulations dude, I'm happy for you, I mean that. I just started a decent job myself. Not quite as nice though. 40k on salary with benefits, I work 4 10s and a bi-weekly half Friday, equipment and travel allowances, free cell phone that i can use for whatever, yearly profit share, and a bunch of other perks. I'm an operator at a facility that makes high grade horse feed. It's a good place to work, lots of room to move up the ladder and make more money. The good thing is if we double the weekly quota then they double our pay for the week. My boss is a literal billionaire, he owns a whole bunch of companies around the world and spends time in Dubai. He's very intimidating with his directness but a nice enough guy.
The pay probably sounds like shit for a lot of areas but it's mostly rural around here so I make a lot more than I need. I am content.

Thanks man. Right on. That job sounds pretty chill. Sounds like you have even better benefits than me lol. I want to move to cut a huge amount of my living costs. That, and I'm kind of tired of living in the city after doing so for 31 years. Make that money man.

Thanks guys. It's looking like it's going to be pretty good. Bosses are all super chill, sexy ass women working the office, and the pay scale for the commission is nuts. Plus, there are plenty of cheap places to eat nearby that don't suck. Good times

hahaha, that was the very first thing I told myself when I got hired. I keep my jobs on average of 4 years. My boss doesn't know I smoke yet, but the very first thing he said when I told him I would take a transfer to the big island is "Man, you could grow some killer weed out there." Lmao fuck yeah. I should smoke him out after my buds are ready

So a funny turn of events have happened. Turns out the new job has me working around 70 hours a week. Ouch. I made enough to pay my rent and all my utilities the first week which was pretty bad ass considering the cost of living here. The owner also does weekly contests for nice prizes. Last week was 500 cash and this week is dinner boat cruise with a plus one.
My boss from my old job when I was a manager called me on the random today and said he wants me to fill a position that would have been a promotion for me if I was still there. The ironic thing is that it turns out my old manager used to own a franchise of my current business, and all of the managers I have now used to work for him. I was laughing my ass off after we figured that out. What was interesting, is that he immediately told me that he knows how much I make and it would be more than worthwhile to come talk to him about my wages to start on monday.
The promotion for my old job has damn good benefits too. The first year even starts with 5 weeks vacation and 8 sick leave days. The store is closed on a lot of paid holidays too. Hell fucking yeah. I'm going to have to jump ship, even if the pay is a little lower. The next position higher from that is 100k and it is a pretty fast position to move from.

Ahh fuck. I gotta take a piss test and my coworkers have smoked me out a shit load the past few weeks. Anyone try quickfix stuff before? I can get it overnighted if it is worthwhile. I'm not in the best of health to do a flush atm.
