Its pretty neat. I have it hung from the ceiling and it clips on both sides so you just unclip it and flip the whole thing over instead of turning all the fruits individually.
I like the zippered one compared to the open one cuz it keeps any bugs out.
I really like this thing. Ill let you know how it works with the peppers. Ive heard people say they work awesome with buds.

Yeah I got one because I didn't know what to do and looked up some tutorial by George Cervantes and he recommended them so I went out and got one. they're pretty inexpensive where I got them.

Well then thats even better. If you have some extra space on it just throw some peppers on it to try out. Reaper oil does sound good.

I have no experience at all with those hanging dryers. But would a dehydrator (I use is for tons of other shit) work? Or does that dry the peppers too quick to preserve flavor like it would for budzz? I'm gonna try some of that oil smokesome.. sounds perfect to season and blast some heat onto anything while cooking, although I may use a diff type of oil..
Thanks for wishing me luck sleep aid, ill check back in this thread once I get some seedlings to repot stage.
Cheers

I really dont know about the dehydrator. For sure itll dry them but i dont know about the flavor retention. Ive always read that air drying is better though regardless of what herb, fruit, or shroom youre using. Sort of the like using microwaves for cooking...theyre convenient cuz theyre quick but food cooked in an oven or stove is usually better.
And what other oil would you plan on using? Ive read to use your favorite vegetable oil. Most asian dishes use peanut or sunflower but im wondering if i could use olive for italian cooking.
Imagine thc wax infused coconut oil turned spicy with peppers. That would make for some interesting dishes to say the least.

omfg the layers of greatness. Yeah I was thinking Asian style oil, and I absolutely think olive oil would be Badass for certain dishes, although none of these are as versatile as your veg oil. About the drying, id speculate to say you are right, anything that you don't wanna lose flavor of or isn't super high in moisture you wouldn't wanna dehydrate for best results. Just walked into a htgsupply store, those fellas had their peppers hanging\drying in one of those things ^^^

My reapers look a bit weak tbh. Ripening though. They do not have the classic 'stinger' style pod that I was hoping for and do not have the kind of dimpled look I would look for normally.
Bummer. They're known to have two style pods, luckily I have new flowers coming in for further peppers. hope they look a bit better.

Pepper spray is anywhere from 500k SHU to 5 million SHU, depending on how it is diluted. Also Carolina reapers should be on there clocking up to 2.2m.
Trinidad moruga scorpions don't usually go that high to 2m SHU, they generally sit closer to 1.2m SHU but "Butch-T strain" trinidad scorpions get as high as 2m and is the strain that got TMS peppers in the guinness book of world records in 2011 just under 1.5m. I'm sure you can find some other individual plants with super high levels of heat but in general they're not that high up there.
awesome infographic, I hope all that medical stuff is true...

So I planted 5 white habs and 5 scotch bonnets, and here are the four s.bs I could fit in my lil veg space. None of the white habs germed. but these seem to be doing awesome. My only question is what size pot you finish in?
Cheers

Peppers usually need at least a 5 gallon minimum to grow to full size. Some people use something slightly larger such as a 7 or 9 gallon so they do not get root bound but peppers are not the biggest plants anyways. I've seen good yields out of 3 gallons but they get root bound quick.
