that pot is definitely not too small for only 8 days in from seed. when you see roots popping through the bottom holes its time to transplant.

I was thinking that the pot was too big. I have another plant started 5 days ago that's about the same as my other ones started 10 days ago and shes in a smaller container.

You may be over watering. Are you waiting until it is dry?

You must budget a minimum of 1 liter per week, or 1 us gallon per month the plant is with you, in most instances thats 3 us gallon pot or 15 liter pot, as most here only have the plant for 3 months even 15 weeks, water the pot by weight to save on any noob issues

Dont listen to that guy...he makes no sense.
Just let em do their thing. Seeds are like children, they all come out different. Some may be fast and others slow. Just let em do their thing. FFOF is a good soil so just water properly and once theyre a bit bigger start feeding em.
Let the top inch or two dry before watering again but not to the point that your plants wilt. Thats too long. Also make sure to completely saturate the container to the point of runoff when you water.

It's probably good that we are growing weeds instead of African Violets or exotic orchids.
