Help! Pulled seedling out of soil

I planted 2 seeds both sprouting with helmets on. One is coming off naturally, one had a helmet that looked stuck on the plant. The only open part of the seed was where the root came out. I decided to try and pry the shell off with two shishka Bob sticks. The entire seedling itself was probably raised almost a cm out of the soil. Will she be fine?

Ouch that must have stressed it out bad. You can wait to see if it recovers in a few days but seedling are kinda sensitive. I personally wouldn't touch them at all until hey have some roots. The plant should be able to discard the seed's outer shell on it's own. Best of luck to ya.

I don't think you have to worry too much about that for babies. It will likely stunt the growth if it survives though. My stressed seedling is kind of mutated now that it is bigger. All of my large fan leaves have weird bends and twists in them. I'm flowering a clone from this plant atm because despite the abuse, it grows super fast lol. I'll be blunt with you though, I wouldn't count on that seedling at this point. I kept mine just for fun type of thing.

This morning I took a look at my seedlings and it has opened the cotyledons very slightly. What to you guys think?
I planted a seed about a couple months back as an experiment and for the first month (bad soil) it reached maybe 2 in. I transferred it to foxfarm soil and its been doing A LOT better! About 7-8in. Now.

Well I haven't noticed much real growth. The plant is the same size but it looks like its trying to straighten out the cotyledons.
