I'm doing a research project on cannabis as an alternative fuel. I need an accurate figure of what percentage of biomass waste (stems, trim, stalk, everything that is not used) is of the total plant.
In other words, for every gram/pound of useable cannabis harvested, how many gram/pounds do you get of stems and trim?
This information will be very helpful. Please provide as much as possible. Thank you.
Maybe this is a stupid question but why cannabis specifically? I mean I would specify hemp if I were you, as hemp is the one used for pretty much every purpose other than getting bud

This question really can't be answered. The size of buds and how much they stretch during flower and how tall they are overall changes from strain to strain and the amount of stem and trim weight will change from strain to strain also.
