P-O, if the water budget of your local area continues to be negative for a long enough time water will become more and more scarce. Eventually the water table will drop, and thus eventually the before mention well will run dry. If there is a large aquifer in the area it too can eventually run dry if it is losing more water than it is receiving. I don't even know what parts of California are experiencing drought though, so I have no way to provide a less vague answer.

California is a shit nest?
Its been the home to bums and crazies for years like it was their promise land or some fucking shit. Everything out there is a dodo brown shit color. If you look over the landscape in the summer it just looks like steaming shit. The people out there are quick to try convince you how not shitty it is and use words like chaparral or summin. Fucking california unbelievable. Even there flag has a picture of a walking turd.
Chaparral? How about the tallest trees in the world? How about the largest trees by mass in the world? How about the oldest trees in the world? How about the highest and lowest points in the lower 48 right next to each other? How about year around glaciers and epic granite formations and giant waterfalls? How about the lost coast? And how about the fact that the people there paved the way for cannabis growers all over the world?

I always thought cali was one of the nicests state... it has mountains, the ocean, amazing trails/hiking, lush green and dry desert, etc
My wife is from San Diego, and often talks about how sweet cali is. I hope to take my family camping in cali sometime in the future (preferably northern cali).

It's the scorched earth policy of those who control the weather. Climate change? Duh, when you can move the jet stream around and keep it pegged in "Polar Vortex" mode for months on end...

ive been in sacramento for four years now and i think it's rained like 30-45 days or so in those four years. It's pretty god damned hardcore. Just 10 minutes ago some sprinkles fell down for a good 3 or 4 minutes. but then it stopped and it doesnt look like any more is coming in today. i love the rain. i lived in phoenix for five years, then in albuquerque for 3, i feel like i haven't seen a really good rain/thunder storm in over 10 years.

It's absolutely going to get worse in California. The PTB, having figured out how to block the lows coming in from the ocean, steering them up to Alaska, then dropping them down to the US East Coast, and are able to do it for months on end. Occasionally a storm will sneak its way through the blockade, and drop some rain on the West Coast. Not very often though. Now that the snow pack is fucked, the snow melt isn't there and that's really the main source historically for CA. Now that the ground water has dropped so far as well, what will be replenishing this? Nothing.

Yeah it's bad. I'm in the So Cal desert and it hasn't rained hard once this year. I put kiddy pools in the surrounding area for the animals and they are dry in just a few days. In previous years I could leave here to check the other gardens and come back and there would be algae and some water when I got back. Now there dry before I leave.

Here in Texas it rains in some areas and drought in others. I'm in a drought area. When I moved to S Tx ground water was at 2 ft, now I can put a 5 ft deep hole in the ground and 2 days later there is no water in it.

That's not true
What isn't true? That it can be done in 24 hrs or that it's the only state?
Which other state (without crossing state lines) can you do that in a 24 hr time period?
