 Father, son plead guilty over Texas marijuana farm

BROWNSVILLE, Texas - A father and son from Mexico have pleaded guilty to running a marijuana farm in South Texas where officers found about 9,000 plants.
Investigators say 52-year-old Miguel Echevarria Zuniga and 22-year-old Miguel Echevarria Guizar could be sentenced to life in prison and fined up to $10 million.
Both pleaded guilty Thursday to manufacturing marijuana. Prosecutors in Brownsville say the case involves the discovery last April of a marijuana field in rural Willacy County.
Agents arrested the Echevarrias as they attempted to flee. Prosecutors say items left in the pot field had fingerprints from both men. Sales receipts located at the scene also linked the scam to the father and son, who face sentencing in July.
The father also pleaded guilty to being in the U.S. illegally after previously being deported.

I guess if I was from south Texas I woulda pleaded too.
