Plant Looks Sad
    #774768 - 04/01/15 10:03 AM (9 years, 7 months ago)

Am I doing something wrong or is my baby just resting for today?

I haven't watered in almost a week cuz the pot has a large reservoir and I just added some water today hoping that was the problem..

Doesn't look like any of the leaves are turning color, but the growth seemed to slow down over the past few days, and now my plant smells a bit like weed and coleslaw mixed lol... and maybe vinegar idk..

If anyone can tell me how my plant is doing and anything I can do to help it grow I would greatly appreciate it.

Also the plant is growing extremely bushy. Like there's no space under the leaves just more leaves lol..

I cut some of the smaller hidden leaves last night in hopes to focus the energy into growing size.. Would anyone recommend I continue more trimming?

If I can get another good pic later I can show you under the leaves.. But for now I'm mostly wondering if my plant is okay and if I can continue, for the most part, how I am already doing?

Soil looks dry to me.  How much are you watering at a time?

That's just a baby man... stop cutting leaves off it

That's the exact wilted look of a plant that's beed deprived of water immediately prior.
Its good to have wet/dry cycles but not to the point where the plant shrivels up.

Water until you have a fair amout of runoff from the bottom. Until the soil is saturated and feels heavy

Thanks guys. It looks somewhat better but maybe tomorrow I will know if the water helped. I added more to make sure really wet...

The plant still looks like it's growing weird tho. Is sativa just more common? cuz I see a lot of pics of tall skinny trees this looks like it just wants to grow in every direction even if there's no room or light lol.. I'll try to show you guys another pic

Ok I will make sure to keep it well watered for another day or 2.. Now I'm sad I thought I was making it happy by giving it some dryness lol.. I think it's the pot with extra reservoir throwing me off it still looked damp soil. But now it's good.

Now how about that growth? I was thinking those under stems exploding out below the big leaves would be good for clones? So the whole thing can keep growing while those start another tree? What do you guys think should I leave it as is for now  and see how it grows or should I... Would I be able to... Clone those fresh branches that are growing fast?

Raise that light a little bit.

Sorry I thought I did answer... Just went onto next subject.

Idk I can't measure water with my hands I thought the pic was good enough to tell about how big the pot was.. The sticker doesn't say anything should I try to check he bottom of the pot?

Looks like a 1 gallon or less.
I could grow that plant in a white styro cup so that's not the most relavant clue as you're not looking at a yellowing, constriction, root-bound idea.
Ensure that when you water, you're letting it run through the bottom all the way with a fair amount of "runoff" .

How's it looking now?
