Ok so I wanted to try a five gal dwc bucket but I wasn't sure how high I fill the water because I'm going to be starting from clone and wondering if I fill the bucket completely so the roots are in water? Otherwise how will I water the roots cuz I don't have a water pump to spray them.

You fill it to root level in the beginning

And then just water it thru the top until the roots grown into the water below?

Thanks and I think I misread it the first time, but the clone will be ok if the netpot is in the water? Just until it gets roots coming out of the netpot then drop the water level below the netpot?

It's pretty simple stuff. You do have an air pump running, right?

DWC is easy to do. In the beginning fill til the bottom of the net pot is 1 to 2 inches deep in the water. The air stone is gonna push water and nutes the rest of the way up for ya. Now when the roots show themselves at the bottom of the net pot, then drop the water level to about 2 inches under the bottom of the net pot. Once again he air stone will carry the water and nutes the rest the way up so the plant can feed. Hope this helps.
