Got the lab results back from the Grapegod I've been growing for the past two years. I would have been happy if it was in the high teen's, but this was much more than I had expected. The other GrapeGod that they had tested was going from about 15-20%.
25x/50x/230x
Potency Profile: 0.40% CBG-A < 0.01% CBG 0.40% CBG-TOTAL 24.84% ∆9-THC-A 1.31% ∆9-THC < 0.01% ∆8-THC < 0.01% CBN 26.15% THC-TOTAL 0.07% CBD-A 0.10% CBD 0.17% CBD-TOTAL 0.04% CBC 1.45% ACTIVATED-TOTAL ∆9THC + ∆8THC + CBN + CBD + CBG + CBC, Cannabinoids that have been activated through decarboxylation (curing/storage of flowers, or heating/cooking of edibles, tinctures, & concentrates)
The unfortunate part is that I sent in a sample from my smoking batch, not the next crop that was noticeably much more flavorful. Its going to be interesting smoking bud and being able to look at its terpene profile. It should bring breeding to a whole new level.

So I was talking to my friend who said they're testing a new way, that the results should be multiplied by .73, bringing it to 19%, which is a bit more reasonable. The site has bud that's up to 34%, and shops have all kinds of 25-30% THC levels, which basically is obnoxiously high, leaving little for actual plant material. I've always been suspect of anything above 22-25%.
That said, the kief on this plant is seemingly unmatched. If you break it open in the light you can see a cloud form around it and kief is everywhere. The cop in Utah opened the jar in the sunlight and said something like "wow, that's the best pot I have ever seen." I hadn't smoked all day and was standing down wind when he opened it. I'd say that was an accurate assessment on his part, especially being Utah. I had just figured out how to cure bud and this stuff had almost 2 months on it.
So to the current Washington State standard of testing, its getting called at 26%, but realistically probably 19% in real life.
What's interesting is being able to look at the terpene profile. I suspected it had low limonene but the test confirm its got none. It'll be interesting to start learning which flavors are associated with each terpene.
The moisture content was a bit low at 1.93% H2O, but it took about two weeks to get the sample to the lab, so it was drying in the ziploc. Next time I might send it with a Boveda %62 to see what it comes out with. I could easily do my own, but still. The lab say its suppose to be between 6-9% on their site.
Also good to see that there is no CBN present after two months in the jar. Good to see my cure technique works as planned. I got a good sample in too, basically I just ripped the next nug off a top cola I was smoking on and sent that in. About 3" down of a 6" cola, part of the densest nuggets. That weighed 1.1g alone, and its not all in the photo.
