Are you going to do a bioactive/live setup or are you going with more of a plastic zoomed type outfit?

Eventually I'm going to build a tank that houses live plants. I'm going to add a dip that holds water which filters through and drains over a stack of rocks that will give it a waterfall effect and ill throw a turtle in that as well.

Nice chameleon, man. Are there any reptile swaps near you? They are great for information and you get too chat with a bunch of breeders and shit. I've had a few Royal Pythons over the years but I'm done with reptiles for now. Crested Geckos are cool as fuck too.

Not sure about the swaps. Its hard to find time for things like that now a days anyway.

I actually have quite a collection of reptiles in my home as well. I've considered posting a photo thread but I wasn't really sure where to put it.
I would advise carefully considering the pros/cons and possible outcomes of cohabiting a chameleon and a turtle. I don't want to sound like a know-it-all and I'm certainly not going to tell you to do or not to do something out of some baseless assumption that I know more about reptiles than you. I am however going to PM you an article written by someone I know, who's a bit of an advocate for bioactive setups, concerning keeping separate species together.

Also, I highly reccomend jungle dawn led bulbs once you start your live setup.

Get it high. I had an iguana years ago that loved to get high. I'd blow a hit into his aquarium and as soon as the smoke touched him he closed his eyes and wouldn't open them again for hours.
