Anyone ever buy Chinese glass pieces? Places like DHGate have oil rigs,bongs,pipes and whatnot for real cheap price. Im wondering if it would be worth it.
I am thinking on getting a oil rig for 50 dollars.

The stuff works pretty well. Just as well as my expensive stuff. No need to order online we have shops all around us down here that have that stuff.

I'd shop around for deals, you can usually find them. Buying Chinese glass is shitty. A) Because it undermines and degrades the artists over here that actually care about the craft B) You should try to keep your money in the US whenever possible.

This is more than likely chinese, and has served me well:
Bought it in gaybec for $55
Minus the ashcatcher which was separate and broke pretty fast.
The bong itself has seen a shit ton of use, a lot of which was in my workshop which isn't really a great environment for glass.
And fuck sentiment. This is the free market.
I mean, I do try and buy US/Canadian made when I want the highest quality, like all my outdoor gear.
But when you just want something to do a task for the best value, go with the lowest bidder.

well its for sure going to have faulty joints, it was 45$!
im sure it's gonna work, but it's absolutely going to have some weak points!

Meh... it's a crapshoot with this stuff.
My chinese glass has been used hard and held up.
Manitou had the same one and its been out of commission for a while.

My first bong was a chinese straight glass tube. It's fallen over countless times and it's still going strong. I think I've had it for almost 12 years. I've had several other bongs since buying this one but it's outlasted them all. Pretty sure I'll have it forever.

Similar piece for only $25. It's generic stuff but I love it for jacket pockets and shit. Just leave a bowl in every jacket, never be without and they stay clean 'cause you have so many.

Well it shipped out on the 30th and I got it today. Pretty satisfied with it considering how much I paid. Been doing dabs all day.
