Golden Goat & MK Ultra (first grow - Completed 2/26/15)

Hello gents.
CrushNazT has encouraged me to share with you some of my progress coming abound in my first grow. Even though cultivation is quite legal here, I've had some inhibitions in sharing photographs for pride's sake.
This being my first attempt I'm not without the belief that I have much to learn- however I would greatly appreciate keeping criticism in this thread constructive.
So let's pop open that tent.
First up, lets pull out that Golden Goat - the image uploader is flipping some of my images no matter what option I choose when I upload so bear with me please.
Next up we have the MK Ultra - these guys would have benefited a lot from some LST or something but that's something I wasn't wanting to mess with on my first go.
I have two mkultra plants, both are much less robust than the GG but I'm happy to have it. Found the seeds in a stash I was smoking a couple months ago. I know the plant it came from was grown outside but that wasn't going to stop me from seeing how it does in a tent anyway.
Lastly, I have 4 GG plants- two of them are very tall and lanky the other two are featured in the first set of picutres.
Here they are next to each other. My friend who gave me the seeds told me the strain was not very stable. I am willing to agree with him, however I assumed it was because the container is so small. Was going to transplant but time got away from me. Will do next time- however I don't think I bothered cloning the lanky ones.
I am planning on just making hash or edibles with the larger less attractive plants. Their flowers are present but not much to be excited about.
Until next time.
Update 1/28
Golden goat has put on a lot more weight, mkultra has really started to fill out a bit more too. Need to get better pics of the mkultra - might wait till next week or something.
1/29 or just till tomorrow, mkultra:

hell yea man. thanks for posting your grow. its lookin good. what soil and nutrients are you using?
BTW look over that MK ultra EXTREMELY well RIGHT NOW (when the light is on i mean) and look for male flowers. i bought seeds FROM adam dunn who made the strain, and ended up having shitty genetics, my mk ultras threw out a BUNCH of male flowers in week 5 and i had nothing bud seeds. i mean, dozens of seeds in a couple grams of bud.
so because of that experience, and having killed off other THSeeds strains at WORK because they all started throwing a bunch of nanners and sometimes seeds, i dont trust their genetics... heavy duty fruity was one of the strains we killed off, and i think cold creek kush too. just a word of caution.

I have been using happyfrog soil and Peruvian Gold's line (micronutes, head start, bloom rush) throughout veg - in addition to that I have some bud candy going in with some foxfarms big bloom now that I'm in bloom. Obviously have long stopped the veg supplements at this point in time.
I just got back from double and triple checking the MKultra - we're good on them being just female I think. Thanks for the tip.
I will keep a hawkeye on it and let you know what happens with it.

That's a shame crush... I've never grown that "heavy duty fruity" but when I smoked it I couldn't get over how good that taste was. Arguably the best tasting weed I've ever had. & good luck sleepAid. lookin good

Awww yeah. Almost there. Then you can taste sweet victory lol. How long did you veg them for? You should try scrog for your next run and see how well they train.
I feel you on the sketch factor. Had somebody on the sister site with no posts message me telling me the name of the city I live in and asking if I knew where he could score. Fucking pig wasting his time if he thinks I'm doing something illegal lol.

Thanks Cheezy- I will definitely be training my plants next go around. I vegged them for about a month and a half, I believe.
Not a sketch factor- Cultivation is perfectly legal here, I just didn't want to make a fool of myself posting pictures around people who know what they're doing (this being my first grow) hahaha

Ahh. Mine is under a state medical grow. The police here are crooked though and have been well known to steal people's shit and threaten with charges to keep your mouth shut. Gotta love that police state.

Quick update
MK Ultra is looking nice, buds getting thicker:
Oh yeah, those tall plants? They got taller. They have buds going on but it's mediocre at best so the two big guys I have going will find their way into a bubblebag, I'm not even gonna fuck with trying to get nugs off them

The smaller plants I guess you could say have started, I haven't watered them since they got their last nutes and they'll be flushing from now on. I feel like the date for harvest I PMed you may have been a miscalculation (too early) so I should still get about two weeks of flushing.
The bigger ones I will actually try to let go a bit longer to see if I can get it to thicken out just slightly. May as well make lemonade with my lemons, and I'm in no hurry.
As always, any advice is much appreciated

Hey dmt, sorry I had actually seen this then forgotten to reply 2 days ago.
The mkultra has a very piercingly sweet scent, very fruity sweet. Reminds me a lot of juicyfruit bubblegum with a kushy aftertaste.
The golden goat also has a sweetness but is a more robust and has obviously green herbal aromas coming through. Not herbal to the point of semi sourness, it's light and pleasant, mixing well with the other undertones to make a very well rounded profile.

I'm actually surprised how much I am enjoying this, dmt. To be honest when I had originally started this undertaking it was to save me some money on smoke. However, I find taking care of plants extremely soothing and it has been a large part of my recovery from a very self-destructive lifestyle.. I feel the same way about peppers, I love my pepper garden. It is my zen place. Very rewarding.
