EL PASO, Texas – A man was arrested for selling marijuana on Craigslist, the El Paso Sheriff’s Office said.
In November, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Border Crime Initiative Unit received information that an unknown person was possibly selling marijuana on Craigslist.
An attachment of the post was provided to the sheriff’s office showing a green leafy substance that was being advertised as “top level Kush on deck,” authorities said.
The post included prices and a telephone number.
With that information, BCI detectives were able to buy marijuana and Xanax pills from the seller, identified as Mathew Alarcon.
Alarcon was arrested for delivery of marijuana for remuneration, delivery of a controlled substance (Xanax), and possession of marijuana.
