Granted, it barely affected me because all I'd've had to do was go to one class, but it's still nice. It seems to lift the mood of the entire city. My old lady got called off work too, which is nice, but also a distraction, reducing the amount of work I'll get done. Did anyone else have a snow day from work or school?

Buffalo? I'm less than an hour away and there's nothing coming down here.

I'm less than an hour away too and we haven't gotten anything more than 2" which has all melted more or less. Supposed to be fucking 60 on Monday.
But yeah, Buffalo is getting an ass blast unlike any I've ever been alive to hear about. It's split down the city too. North side isn't getting shit while the south side got 6 feet over night.
People trapped on the NY thruway for 8 hours plus. 100 miles of thruway shut down. Bills game was supposed to be moved to Syracuse but there's a big hockey game going down (aka more important  )
If I was trapped in my car for 8 hours I'd move to fucking Arizona that night. That's some bullshit to deal with in November. I'm so glad it didn't hit here.

I think it's funny how much snow they've gotten. I'm in Canada and all I have is <6" on the ground. Usually we're the ones getting flak for being closet Eskimos.

We had 10-15' snow banks on the side of the main highway all year last year, north and south. Those roads were closed constantly last year, we couldn't go anywhere.
6' all at once is a lot. I bet this is the only time in your life you're gonna hear of someone sucking dick for a snow blower.

Lots of places are collapsing from the weight of the snow, I think death toll from the blizzard is above a dozen atm...
Now we have a flood warning and evacuation for by the creeks, as the creek out back is getting really high n rowdy as it fills with the melting snow since its been warm the past two days.
