Magash, after reading this thread, i am under the assumption that you don't use an ec/ppm meter and only use a ph meter. do you just follow the dose directions on the bags & you don't have to worry about the ppm's?

I use the Blue lab truncheon
For PH I just use the drops. I hate PH meters.

good gracious that thing is pricey. does it vaporize your weed for you too?
Do you have a link i can read about when & where i would use this device for this particular application?
I'm having trouble understanding it all & can't find a suitable thread anywhere.

It does PPM in both scales and EC and it never needs to be calibrated and it's shock resistant.
Just stick it in the nutrient solution like any other meter.

Not much to using it. Just stick it in the nutrient solution and read the number next to the flashing light.
As far as when to use it when ever you top off the nutrient or add new nutrient solution. That is gonna change depending on res size, number of plants, size of the plants and so on.

Thanks Magash, I am going to use the maxi line you suggest wen i get my system together. I've been reading (& re-reading) just about every thread you've posted, your expertise as helped me tons!
