Man, just be glad you don't need two sets of tires. My snow tires were like $600. They are damn nice though.

Yall don't use chains? I remember that being a big thing up north. Its been a nuggent since I've been up north though.

Umm no we don't use chains. We do have pavement.
So is mine. My all-seasons were getting rough and they are now retired. The snows are still practically new and smooth as fuck.

Yeah dude that would break up the pavement in like a day. Only off-road or wayyy up north (like arctic circle north) will you find chains.

On my travels out west I've seen signs saying chains mandatory and tons of chain up spot along the road.

In parts of Northern Idaho they have chain-up areas every few miles, and some real rough roads where the speed limit drops to 5mph. Pretty fun drive in good weather.
