Do any of you play an instrument or sing? If so, what instruments/style of music do you prefer?

I don't know if I can really call myself a musician or a hobbyist. I used to play in bands back when I was in high school and even got to play at a few clubs and local festivals/fairs. Nowadays, I play just for fun on weekends usually. Sometimes during the week after work.
My main instrument is guitar. I love playing the blues and reggae on guitar. Metal is fun, but its so much more fun to get lost in a blues song. I play drums, bass, violin, dulcimer, and piano. I don't play the piano or dulcimer all that well. Still a novice on those. I really want to get either a chanter or a full set of bagpipes. Those are expensive as fuck so I don't see myself learning them anytime soon.
I am just a fan of music, I use to write and all that, but now I don't really have the time to sit and tinker that long with an idea.

If he does, that would be awesome to hear him bust out some Claypool.

I got a new band going now that i found a chick that likes to sing. Pretty dark style we're fishing out.
I taught myself piano in my mid teens. In the late teens my friends taught me to play drums and be in their band cause they couldn't get along with other local drummers, lol. Hmmm, i learned guitar and ukulele somewhere around 4 years ago.
I love playing music.

Mostly skate punk with a lot of dueling harmonized guitar licks, eg. Strung Out, Pulley, NOFX. I also have a soft spot for old hair metal guitar virtuosity.
