From what I can gather, this forum discusses the modern role and "truth" behind the female species.
They discuss a number of topics and these are my thoughts on each:
Hypergamy
This is the idea that a woman will jump into another relationship to upgrade her status / current relationship partner, based on looks, money, etc.
OK, so gold diggers definitely exist. Let's get that out of the way. But, is this to say that all women act this way? And how about men? Wouldn't some of them opt to date that hotter chick or that richer girl? I say of course. But the real question is which sex is more prone to this kind of behavior?
I think women are. But this isn't to say that I think women are inherently bad, it's just I think it's in their true nature. They actively seek out providers. I think it's just a biological thing. There are plenty of faithful women out there (Or so I hear) so I certainly don't think they all do it, but I find it interesting to ponder the possibility that there may be some primal urge at play here.
ALPHAS VERSUS BETAS IDEOLOGY
This is the idea that there are "alpha" and "beta" males. Alphas are socially dominant and apt by nature, and attract more mates. Betas are submissive, timid men who have trouble "sealing the deal," and experience all around low self esteem due to their lot in life.
Do I find this to be true?
Yes and no. Somewhat, really. But I've experienced times in my life we're I've acted dominant Vs. acting sheepish depending on a variety of things.
I certainly think having an "alpha" type personality works in a man's favor, but such can just be attributed to having high self esteem and confidence. I think anyone would be more inclined to go after women if they were felling this way. Thus, I think even a "beta" can get to that level if the just work out and exercise, work on social skills, etc.
There will always be those with aggressive and submissive personalities. There are too many factors to designate a person one or the other. It's like a scale to me, with random discrepancies.
I think this all originated on 4chan.
FEMINISM AND ITS ROLE IN MODERN SOCIETY
These red pillers think feminism has ruined women. They think that feminists have pushed to have women step out of their traditional roles and that this is detrimental to a women's psyche and well-being. They believe the push to have women fill more tradition male roles and to be more open sexually has caused them to have mass mental health issues, as they continuously cite figures that show most women are on psychiatric medications for depression, anxiety, etc. I also saw an article detailing how a feminist's hands are more likely to exhibit male digit characterizations, I found that amusing.
I think women should be able to feel empowered. Feminism is OK.
Except for the fact that these women can't cook, clean, or keep house.
Maybe this one has some truth to it. Men are expected to fix things, pay for expenses, take out the trash, maintain motor vehicles, etc.
Chick better be cleaning!
OK, I'm done. TL;DR amirite? Any thought for those of you who actually read this?
