It's Your Forum - You Pick the Winners!
So far, we've selected the prizes & picked the winners, but we'd like to give the The Growery members more input. So, here's your chance to tell us what you'd like to see for upcoming comps.
1. What kind of comp do you like best?
• POTM (Plant of the Month)
• BOTM (Bud of the Month)
• Comment & Win
• Pick Your Favorite Seed from Our Site
• Name that strain, count the beans, etc
• Change it up each time
2. How do you want to choose the winner?
• Mods or Admins choose
• Members vote at the end using a poll (could be hard if it's not POTM or BOTM - everyone might just vote for themselves)
• We pick at random
3. What do you want to win?
(We'll probably have to choose the prize at least half the time due to commitments to various breeders. This is for when we have some flexibility.)
• Members choose
• Winner choose
• We choose
• Do you just want seeds or do you want other items when available?
4. What other rules do you want to set?
• Open to all members
• Members have to join prior to the start of the comp
• Members have to have a certain number of posts
• Members have to be a regular contributor
• Other rules?
5. What did we miss? Add any other comments or suggestions you think of.
Since we're starting to feel like paid spammers on your forum, you'll begin to see us around The Growery a little more if that's OK with everyone.
Gorilla Seed reps are "green-fingered", but as seed reps, we can only hint about anything related to growing or get a hand slap when the boss gets paranoid & looks into what we've been up to.

1. POTM/BOTM sounds like a good idea, but I'm not sure we have enough people with different grows to have a contest every month for it. Name that strain/count the beans seems fun too. I think you guys should change it up for best results.
2. Guess it depends on the contest. Obviously for the POTM a member vote would be best, but for other competitions I think you guys randomly picking winners is cool.
3. Winners picking their prize would be awesome if possible! But I understand it's not always possible and honestly winning anything is pretty cool. Seeds are best but other items are appreciated too.
4. I personally like the idea of members needing to join prior to and/or have a certain number of posts to enter.

ye facebook is a bit too personal if you use real name - we get a lot of facebookers check out the forums we sponsor though, thats always a good thing!
any ideas to get the growery members more interested in the comps, weve only had 3 members here interested in this thread so far!
were not desperate or anything lol, we just want to fit our comps in comfortably with your forums style.
