Man Eater - ScrOG - FFOF - 400w HPS 1

Another day, another Man Eater grow log.
Strain: Man Eater Grow Medium: Fox Farms' Ocean Forest (5 gallons) Light Source/Wattage: 400w HPS Veg/Flower cycles : 18/6 Veg 12/12 Flower Temps (Fahrenheit): High 70's, reaching 80 at times, should cool down soon with fall closing in.
The usual Fox Farms lineup will be used for flowering:
-Tiger Bloom -Cha-Ching -Beastie Bloomz
(No Grow Big has been needed, as it exploded in growth, filling the screen before the Ocean Forest was exhausted of nutrients.)
This plant is a clone of Man Eater #1 from this grow. It was the heaviest yielder, gave more purples and reds at maturity, and caused plenty of sativa-related freakouts amongst lightweights and regular indica smokers. (Potent as fuck.)
After vegging for two weeks(from clone), it has filled the 7.5 sq ft screen.
So, without further distraction, let's get this log going.
Flowering Day 10Pics in regular lighting will come next time. Flowering Day 30Flowering Day 36Flowering Day 43Flowering Day 57Main Flushing DayFlowering Day 63HarvestAfter about 5 days with only clean water, then another 6 after the flush, she's chopped! Final Dry Weight: 105g of pure insanity. Pics to come!

Nice man, I haven't smoked any Man Eater in months now, and it definitely ranks as my fav. strain so far, so I'm eager to get a nice pile of it again.
Tried to get a few pics that while the HPS was off, they turned out pretty shitty but I put up a few. (Someday I'll get a decent camera.)
Pics in the OP.

Sheesh I'd be a little bummed if I only got 4 oz! I got 6oz from the last grow, and I'm hoping for 8oz this time.
Last grow, both plants were terribly rootbound, weren't trained perfectly, I never ph'd the feedings once, and they got scorched by the light.
This time, it's 1 plant, (the yielder at that) 3 weeks veg time for plenty of root space, scrogged, every feeding has been ph'd, and the screen is well below the maximum height of the light, so it should come out even better than last time!
That looks nice, I gave a clone to a neighbor and they are growing it outdoors, (scrogging as well) so I'll see if I can get his permission to put some pics of it up on here. Before now, I'd never seen Man Eater in an outdoor setting.

Thats pretty good, up until the last Man Eater grow, I only got 2ozs maximum. I'd just hate to get only 4 after dropping money on soil, nutes, R/O water, temp control and electricity, work involved, risk, etc.
I'd say veg time really depends on a lot of things, for this setup and this very clone of Man Eater, 3 weeks is about the maximum veg time before things would get unruly in the screen once the flower stretch comes in.
I wouldn't know about supercropping. This clone was topped, giving 3 tops that were tied down for about a week, then trained through the screen, trying to fill up every square along the way until a little under half of the screen was filled, then flipped to flower to fill the screen.
The last time I counted, there were well over 100 tops in the screen. (Stopped counting after a while.) So I would recommend ScrOGing your plants, even if you can outdoors. (As long as plant count is low, I think it'd be pretty tough to perfectly train a large number of plants through screens.)

Thanks More pics added to the OP, and I found my much less shitty camera so the pics are actually not that bad this time! If anyone could give any input on the way the very tips of the leaves are curled up and some crispy, it'd be greatly appreciated. The pH shouldn't be off but I haven't checked the runoff lately.

Top city holy shit haha. Nice grow man, the way your trained it to have like 100 tops is awesome! I'd normally say adjust your pH but you said your pH levels are alright. Maybe check pH of runoff...peat mixtures can get acidic over time. Could possibly be a burn but not definitely. What's your ppm when you nute? How often do you feed?
You could try flushing it now with pH'd water. Hawk once told me he flushes half way through flower every grow anyways so I guess you could try the same.

High nutrient levels usually cause this If this is the case they must be pretty high cause Man Eater is one of the strains I've bred that can take a pretty high nutrient level.

Lol that face ^ is perfect.
This is what the past 2 feedings have been: 1/4 - 1/2 strength Grow Big (depending on yellowing) 1 tbsp blackstrap molasses per gallon. A little over full strength Beastie Bloomz to make up for having no Tiger Bloom (For 3 gallons of water, I use 3 1/4 tsp and then 1 extra 1/8th tsp)
I think I'll give it a good flush, and then start off fresh without exceeding the max. amounts for anything and see how that goes.

I never check ppm after adding nutes, only before to make sure the water is R/O, I figured it wasn't relevant to a soil grow.
I've also been feeding with every watering, and just lately read that that wasn't common practice, so I might back off a bit on that too. Makes sense that clean water occasionally would help prevent buildup.

Actually it's more relevant then hydro which I know sounds funny but you guys water soil with solutions that are as strong as used in hydro. When a salt build up or overfeeding occurs with hydro it's a matter of dumping the solution and running the pumps with plain water. With soil you gotta flush and that process alone is shocking enough on the plants let alone the problem that got you there.
