I was round my great uncle's house the other night on a drinking binge and he mentioned that he takes Diazepam and sometimes with drink. He told me he'd been addicted to them since he was 18 and he's now 63! I asked him if I could try one tomorrow (as mixing with alcohol is bad) he said yes but for me not to tell anyone. So he whipped out this box and I noticed they were 5mg per tablet. Shitfuck. He ended up giving me three tablets though!
As I woke up the next day he suggested I take one, I was quite hungover but thought what the hell so I popped a single tablet. After a while he asked me if I could feel anything in which I replied no I don't. So I popped the other two secretly.
On the way home I felt minor effects but nothing special at all, I can't even really describe them. I definitely felt drowsy though (whether that was the Diaz or the alc from the night before?) and I slept for 4 hours. Woke up a little later and was as fresh as a daisy.
I've always wondered what Diazepam would feel like and I was sorely disappointed at the outcome. I ended up taking 4mg etizolam a while later and oh my, the contrast was phenomenal, I felt really upbeat & content and just way more talkative, they are far more superior in that respect imo.
So did I do something wrong guys? Perhaps I should have had all 3 at the same time? Anyone here like Diazepam? If so why? I'm genuinely intrigued to know!

valium is good on the 30+ mg. i actually enjoy it over any other benzo.

Yeah, it's pretty weak at that dosage. Also, it's best on an empty stomach or paired with a few drinks. Give drugs a chance.

I encourage you to experiment with the drug and see how it affects you. It being your first time, you really don't understand it yet and it doesn't understand you. Take a few days out of work and get daisy,develop a relationship, grow with one another. Become one. God bless

Valium doesn't do shit for me either except make me sleepy...actually that's all any benzos do for me.

I got a guy that gets valium shipped directly from the source. Fucking 100% pure. Has tiny little gold flakes too. Shits so strong you black out just from holding it. I took 1 once and blacked out the entire 7th grade.

Same here, benzos have never done a thing for me as far as a "recreational" aspect goes. For sleep, or for taking the edge off anxiety, they're handy...but I don't experience any euphoria or "feel good" from them.
I more or less feel the same about alcohol too.

I took a xanax bar once in my late teens with a pint of Beam, blacked out, and woke up in my bed the next morning not remembering anything from the night before. According to my friends though I got really mean and wanted to beat everyone's ass before I passed out. Not an experience I ever want to have again.
But like openmind said, they make a lot of people high and euphoric but they just never have for me...just extremely tired.

My vet gave my cat some on prescription. He kind of ran into a wall when I gave him one, and looked at me with evil drowsy eyes.
Today, however, I am about to give him another one, he just had surgery and an abscess cut open and and now a dime sized raw area. Can't let him outside, and he is all wired up on antibiotics and a rabies shot. He needs a downer.
