Strain name: Blue Cheese
Breeder: Barneys Farm Breeder's Description: Barney's Farm Blue Cheese By breeding the famous Skunk #1 “Cheese” through the original and perennially popular Blueberry line, Barney’s Farm has created a productive, easy-to-grow strain yielding incredibly fragrant and tasty buds. The characteristically intense and pungent aged-cheese aromas are tempered with sweet blueberry notes. Flavors are soft but assertive, singing of berries n’ cream. This short, stocky plant has strong side branches that develop tight, sticky colas during a fairly short flowering period. The potent effects are calming and relaxing – a true sensation for Indica enthusiasts.

Aroma: This strain is mostly blue at the front like good blue dream with a decent skunk smell in the background. A very pleasant pungent smell that still sneaks through my carbon lined bag.
Flavor profile: None of the skunk really makes it through unfortunately but the flavor that remains is all blue with a creamy resin/hash taste. Not as strong as the smell would make you think. I would have preferred much more cheese than blue.
Smoke characteristic: It is a pretty thick heavy smoke that will choke you up if you take a huge rip. everyone around will enjoy the smell with you.
Dosage: 1/2 gram joint or a full bowl. ill usually pack 2 bowls if im sharing.
Onset: its a bit of a creeper. youll get all the regular eye drooping and sinus tingling but the high and mind fuck kind of pass in and out over the following hour.
Potency: solid 6-7 not the strongest but also not the lightest. and were it lacks in fuck uppage it gains in smell and all around pleasure to smoke.
Psychoactive Characteristics: good all around high from this strain. doesnt have a strong hold psychoactive wise but will get you feeling good and wanting to be active till that wall hits. pretty middle of the road hybrid right at 60/40
Duration: solid hour for a pretty heavy smoker
Final notes: its a good strain with a good taste a good high a good yield. i personally like sativa heavy strains for day to day use but as a hybrid goes this is great. does have good bag appeal since its so trich covered but other than that its a bit boring looking (sativa shaped conical buds not too tight and zero color change in foliage or pistils which i find boring). ill keep growing it for crowd pleasing. plus shit this stinky is easy to move.

Great report.
I've always heard Blue Cheese is much more Blueberry than Cheese - especially the Barney's one.
Did it give you any problems during the grow?

nope grow was fine. vegged about 3-4 weeks and flowered 10. 7-10 day dry with a good 3 week cure at this point. i pinched the tops to promote additional growth which im not too fond of. im sure ill enjoy the growth better going back to lst and just spending a bit more time handling the plants while in veg.
