 Indoor 1k watt ORGANIC grow Diamond Girl and White Skunk **UPDATE (7/11/13)**

I recently visited my local grow store and purchased a Agromax grow tent and got a killer deal on a 1k watt HPS digital setup from a guy off craigslist (super sketch). Well after a month and a half this is what I have.
Seeds - Planetskunk.com Diamond Girl, White Skunk strain
Soil - Fox Farm Ocean Forest, Harvest Super powered Organic (Lowes stuff)
Light - 1k Sunmaster HPS bulb with Digital Greenhouse ballast
Agromax Grow 55x55x79 grow tent
I water with RAINWATER. I collect it in multiple bins and have a 15 gallon reservoir full.
Nutes - Organic Choice Blood Meal, Stump tea (HTG)
  
This is a total organic grow so I am trying to keep from pumping them full of nutrients.
I do not have a reflector in the tent so I am just simply hanging the bulb from the top middle of the tent and letting the reflective material do the rest. Anyone have experience with this?

I have a thermostat at the level where the plants are, it stays 70-75 with 70% humidity constantly. I am just curious if anyone has had success with just hanging the bulb like I am doing?

It works, but you lose a lot of the light. I've seen successful gardens use it, but they have a lot of them. I personally would get an air cooled reflector.
Thermometer you mean? A thermostat is a device designed to turn heaters or AC's on and off.

I just dont have the money for an air cooled reflector considering I dont have a job. I have a thermometer/hygrometer in the tent. Any ideas on a cheap made reflector that works?

Could also try mounting some mylar just above the bulb, if you can shape it right i dont see how it wouldnt work

UPDATE! It is day 32 of flowering and this is what I have thus far.
Unfortunately the only thing I have for food is Stump Tea which isn't much. I have been watering with rainwater every 2 days. I had a buddy of mine give me a piece of stainless steel that I am using as a DIY reflector that was FREE. I made it with stuff laying around the house. Once I harvest, I will be investing in more of the proper equipment. The Sativa properties are really showing in the Diamond Girl because it is stretching SUPER far. Any advice is taken and will be properly used, thanks everyone for following my first journal here on Growery so far! I will keep this thread updated as long as I can keep a decent camera around. The top 2 pictures were taken on a nice camera phone, and the others where taken on my flip phone (sorry for quality)

**UPDATE** 7/11/2013
I have harvested all the others and started a 2nd cycle. One week into flowering I had some issues with my 1k watt light and blew a few fuses and bulbs. Finally I have them back on track under the proper light and I have been using a new nutrient line called Organicare. I can't wait to see the results!
In the grow tent I have a white skunk on the left and Diamond girl on the right. I am getting ready to put them into my new 7 gal. grow bags and let them flourish to their full capability!
This is a close up of the Diamond Girl AKA - Silver Pearl. You can see the stress it has endured being without the proper light, the leaves look awful and I can't wait to make it happy again!
Here are my newest CLONES! The pink pot on the left is my White Skunk and the black one on the right is a Diamond Girl.
This is my Diamond Girl Mother Plant. I am working on getting a veg tent for my mother plants and putting them under a 400w light.

I yielded around 4 ounces off of all of my plants. I was happy considering my reflector was super ghetto rigged. Now I have proper equipment and have started a newer grow log. Check it out in my signature and follow it! I will be going to over 4k watts this winter!
