Looney toons are lame

--------------------
Learning to love life by living through loss and mistakes
Lessons learned then gradually surfacing, Letting go, stripping naked to scream
I am not perfect nor do I strive to be, I am alive in this world of face first falls and public breakdowns
I'm a retarded, disfigured clown
Dying to be heard through the simple art of letting this heavy wall finally fall
I'm an equal being of no race, or color, a hallucination if you will
Sneaking into the lives of strangers, and letting them fall apart to a new rhythm just to feel better

all cartoons are wicked. i mean, nowadays the same kinda work just ain't put into them; gross out humor has overtaken the stage, because violence is just inappropriate, and well... computer cell animation is just not as cool as old school animation. (ie Ren and Stimpy, ect)

i like the old stuff because A:history and B:they're classic and C:they're fully animated, scored and much more experimental and humorous... up until the 1999-ish, they were all wicked... now it's kinda like... mostly for kids with the exception of a few greats, like Adventure Time. (which is as good as anything else, only...of course, it's computer cells but nonetheless the writing and characters and drawings are top notch and the show is hilarious) though i must admit, i've seen the new "Looney Toons Show" and despite it being very much for kids, it's still quite good... it's like they brought back some roots, and the animation is very well done. (again despite being computer cells)

it just has to all come together, and cartoons, they get alot of work put into them... the worst era for cartoons (the 80's) still had some greats, even though it was pretty much all marketing... but the creators took it all very seriously and managed to make friggin Transformers, and the Thundercats (not too mention alot of good Japanese animation started getting made) i mean... sure it was cheesy in comparison to the greats of the 90's or the oldies... but like i said, if it comes together it just works.

this is the only version of A to Z-Z-Z-Z i can find...

Word.
Dude I try to like adventure time but I cant get into it. I respect the originality though. I dig the Regular Show. For some reason it reminds me of Clerks except for with a bird and a squirrel and a big white yeti named Skip.

Regular Show and Adventure Time are always at odds. i never got into Regular Show. lol, i get it's a matter of taste. another reason why cartoons rock, there is so many to choose from.

but i'll have to give the Regular Show another try sometime. it's not like it bad or anything, and i might have just not been in the right mood for it.

John K's shows are fucking epic. I hated regular show the first time I seen it then one day I just flipped it on and it clicked for me.

The thing that amazes me about animation is the closeness of each cartoon to the other. Like the fact that Heffer is really spongebob, Filbert is Plankton and some dudes from Camp Lazlo. All these guys seem to have started in the same vein and kinda kept close through the years and offered easy jobs to friends and stuff.

The thing that blew my fucking mind......the little mustached guy from Reno 911 is fuckin Rocko. WTF!?!?

And the crazy dad from Pet Semetary 2 is Mr. Krabbs from SpongeBob.

Just kinda cool.

Even the dude that plays Vegetta is a voice on Naratu. or some shit.

ya, mang, they all got connections. i mean, that's what happens when you got the talent. i mean, look at James Earl Jones i mean he was in Lion Kings and shit, so many cartoons, and he was friggin Darth Vader

but then other then that his actual acting roles (not voice acting) are like... silly  but he takes em deftly seriously... like the bad dude from Conan: the Barbarian!

Yeah dude, when I was a kid I alternated between The Sandlot, The Big Green, and Army of Darkness. We didn't have cable at the time and those were the entertainment for me. Now I love Evil Dead, but for some reason I hate that big red head dude from the big green.
