It fermented for about 12 days. Now I have another batch fermenting, and it looks like it's SCOBY will produce a baby soon. I have a friend that wants his own jar, so that's another bonus.
Gonna let it chill till morning and start my day with a cup
The one I just pulled was given to me as is. The batch I'm fermenting now will be all my making. I used 1.3c sugar and 2 family bags of Luzianne tea to a gallon of water. Will let this ferment for another 12 days and see how it tastes. I will probably try a different tea like English Breakfast or a Green tea next. I bought some organic Non-GMO sugar for the next batch as well.
