when did i say america was some great demon. all i said was we were "in the shitter right now" which we are. and that the nationalism we encounter serves to pacify the masses and make them forget about whats going on. People get swept up in a patriotic fervor and are blinded to the flaws of our country.
Nationalism has been a major reason for wars throughout history, it is not a good thing for humanity. And the 4th of july is full of it. this is all im trying to say about the holiday.
