Happy 4th of July. Today hopefully Americans will reflect on just how good we have it as a country and while our system has its flaws we still have one of the greatest countries in the world and have much to be grateful for!

everyone copies America. ever read about how some critics think 'globalization' is 'Americanization'? it's pretty interesting. just look at how things are changing around the world.

I'm not saying that america is a bad place to live at all.
Particularly if you are the complacent type who like to have their thinking done for them while they are assaulted with mass media 24x7 from every angle as they eat hamburgers and get fat.
If that's your personality type than america is perfect for you.
America has a lot of flaws and happens to be doing a lot of fucked up shit right now. And the kind of nationalism that is promoted on the 4th of july, works to keep people of the idea that "america rules" and "we're number 1" so there is no need to question, of even think about what our government is doing.
