They smell during veg, but a lot stronger during flower...at least the four strains Ive grown so far. During veg mine didn't usually start to actually smell like weed until they got a foot tall or so though.

it depends on the type of strain you are growing. ive had strains were i did not have to use my carbon filters intill 7 or 8 weeks into veg .. but i also had strains two weeks into veg the whole house stunk like weed.

If you're doing it right then yea. The plants are going to noticeably begin to smell into about the second week of veg. The smell will increasingly become more intense as the plants mature. It's that last month of flowering that's the smelliest, in my opinion.

They have kind of a sweet planty smell when they're vegging but the real stink doesn't kick in until about halfway through flowering.

All depends on strain but veg for most part has that sweet smell.

Yeah the starwberry cough and drizilla's I have now are really pungent in veg compared to any other strain ive messed with.
girlfriend will deff be bitching when they come upstairs to the flower room and explode! ( flower room is beside our bedroom)  0
