hey guys i chopped a plant down and were my plant is drying the room is around 70 degrees and the room is around 25% humidity .. so is that too dry? if it is can i put a trash bag over it to help keep it from drying out too fast? the room it is in is the only place i can dry so changing rooms is not a option.

70 degrees is fine, but you will definetly want to increase the rh much higher. Ideally you're gonna want to maintain 55-60% humidity while drying your buds.

yah there is no way to get the humidity up in the room .. so if was to put a plastic bag over it to help keep some of the humidity around the plant and every couple of hours lift the bag off the plant for a couple mins to allow air exchange would that by any chance help?

man that sounds like a pain in the ass. If you've got the cash just pick up a humidifier.
If that's not an option you could try this...
I used to hang wet towels in my closet to keep rh up when I only used to dry a few lbs at a time. It worked great. If you have an extra 10 bucks pick up a digital indoor outdoor thermometer that reads rh too. This way you can have a handle on what your humidity is.

well the issue is i have to keep the plant in my grow room because it will stink up the rest of the house.. and the lady friend hates how it does that.. now the one plant i just chopped is about 10 days early from the rest of my plants wich i was just going to hang in the grow tent to dry and turn the inline fans down to super low to keep the rh up.
so this prob is kinda a last min because the plant decided to end alot earlier then the rest.
